Mark White founded and became Chief Executive Officer of a predecessor of the Company, One Horizon Group PLC, in 2004 and served as Chief Executive Officer and a Director of One Horizon Group, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. His entrepreneurial career in the distribution of electronic equipment and telecommunications spans over 25 years.
He founded Next Destination Limited in 1993, the European distributor for Magellan GPS and satellite products, and sold the business in 1997. Prior to that, Mr. White was Chief Executive Officer for Garmin Europe, where he built up the company’s European distribution network.
Apart from his product and technical knowledge Mark has a wealth of experience in corporate finance. Mark has led in excess of 25 merger and acquisition transactions and associated funding and financing rounds, and has successfully transformed numerous company’s fortunes on both the private and public markets.
Martin Ward has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of One Horizon Group and its predecessor since 2004. During that time he has overseen the Company’s United Kingdom arm float on the London AIM market and in 2012 merge with a NASDAQ OTC market company. In 2014 the Company was promoted to the NASDAQ Capital Market with the symbol OHGI. Mr. Ward is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983.
Nalin Jay has a long track record as a leading strategy and performance advisor to some of the world’s biggest soccer clubs.
He pioneered the world’s first team turnaround service to help English Premier League clubs turnaround poor runs of form and avoid relegation. The first client to use this service successfully was Wigan Athletic some ten years ago.
Since then he and his executive team have helped numerous Premier League Managers and Players find new levels of peak performance, including Aaron Ramsey (the highest paid UK player in world soccer), Gianfranco Zola (Chelsea’s greatest player) and Lee Grant (the Manchester United Goalkeeper and the most improved goalkeeper in the English Premier League).
He also brought major sponsors such as HSBC and the Royal Air Force into English soccer for the first time.
Nalin has been CEO of Carnegie Stewart, a global strategy consultancy focusing on leadership and performance for the last 7 years and his client list includes global law firms (White and Case and Allen and Overy), several major banks and multinationals, and numerous leading entrepreneurs and UHNWI’s. Nalin is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
Spencer Christopher is a creation of Silicon Valley, having built his career over 8 years in Apple’s iOS development starting as an engineer and transitioning into leadership. As a lead, he worked to build the most successful mobile OS of all time, through channeling multiple departments and teams to bring together iOS on a yearly schedule. He also spent a year as a project lead on the first build of the apple watches industry defining WatchOS. Spencer has a true talent for understanding markets to combine engineers, artists and marketing teams to a linear finished product.
Spencer worked with multiple startups as a primary consultant and turned around several businesses after his involvement. Fanduel is a primary example of one such startup that was able to skyrocket in popularity after Spencer’s engagement. Regularly Speaking at campuses around the states, to educate students on the ever-changing dynamics of the industry. He is dedicated to constant education and creating technology that is not only commercially successful but also beneficial to society as a whole. Spencer is a graduate of Stanford’s School of Engineering.
Peter Trembling is a proven chief commercial officer with extensive experience in football and across the Financial Services and Sports & Entertainment sectors. He is one of the sectors leading consultants on fan engagement initiatives that are designed to deliver highly compelling benefits to the fanbase whilst securing significant sponsorship investment from major brands across the industry.
Peter served 10 years in mid-senior management positions at two of the largest card companies in the world (American Express and MBNA International Bank) before acting as a consultant for a number of top European football clubs, several airlines, banks and the world’s 5 largest payment networks – MasterCard, Visa, China UnionPay, Diners International and American Express. With each he worked on the development of sponsorship and customer engagement strategies where loyalty, rewards, experiences and payment card products sat as integral elements.
He spent three years at Everton FC, initially as an engaged consultant before becoming Commercial Director during which time he worked on major sponsorship initiatives with the likes of Chang, Kitbag (now Fanatics) and a number of tier 2 sponsorship partners. Thereafter he was appointed Executive Chairman of Notts County and latterly investing personally as owner of the club following a management buy-out. Most recently Peter has continued his work across the sports and FS sectors to deliver a number of high profile partnerships.
Over the last +25 years Peter can attest to having worked across the globe on partnership programmes for the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, the ECB, RFU (all whilst at MBNA) through to more recent engagements with clients such McLaren F1, European Tour Golf, and two top 6 Premier League clubs.
